Creating a powerful visual identity and brand messaging for a new non-profit.
Founded in 2023, the Mersades Ann Foundation is a beacon of hope for children of incarcerated parents.
We were hired to design a visual identity that would honor the life of the foundation’s namesake and create compelling brand messaging that would resonate with the target audience.
The logo and brand colors were inspired by conversations with the family about their daughter, Mersades.
The tree and heart used in the logo were based on a drawing provided by the family.
We developed brand messaging to set guiding principles for behavior, formalizing a shared purpose and direction for the foundation.
As a result, the visual identity and brand messaging help build an emotional connection with the audience and enhance brand recognition.
